Fine Arts Festival 2019
Posted on 05/09/2019
During the week of May 6, 2019, District 6 held its third annual Fine Arts Festival at the Christ Community Church. This event served as an opportunity for students to showcase their talents through music, art, dance, and so much more over three nights of entertainment. Throughout the week, students, families, and community members were able to view the incredible art pieces created by District 6 students.
On the first night, Mariachi, band, and orchestra performed a variety of music that left the audience wanting more. Choir groups from all over the District performed on the second night, and their passion was felt throughout the entire night.
To conclude the week's events, top performers from each school competed in the Zion's Got Talent Finals for the chance to be named 2019's winner. All the performers did an amazing job and spectators and judges were beyond impressed. To see a compilation video of the performers, click on
Zion's Got Talent Finals 2019 video.
We would like to give a special shoutout to our top winners:
First Place Winner: Valeria Herrera - vocal performance Second Place Winner: AJ Quinones - dance performance Third Place Winner: Melody Calzoncit - vocal performance
