Teacher Institute Day

While students took a day off on Teacher Institute Day (Nov. 25), teachers took time out of their regular routines to focus on learning. Zion District 6 schools celebrated Red Ribbon Week by participating in Spirit Days and activities to unite and take a visible stance against substance abuse.

Northern Illinois Food Bank Partnership

Zion District 6 is proud to partner with the Northern Illinois Food Bank – a program that provides food through a network of 800 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, youth and senior centers, and has a number of other direct distribution programs to assist hungry neighbors.

Our students traveled to the chilling center of the polar region followed by the scorching heat of the Sahara desert and then took a dip in the deep blue sea all via virtual reality. Come travel with us!
