Dear District 6 families,
At the end of every quarter, you are allowed to make a pathway change between Clicks or Bricks. The end of quarter 2 is Tuesday, January 26. You will soon receive a Brick/Click Pathway Change form link from your principal. If you are interested in making a pathway change, please complete the form by Friday, January 15th.
As you know, safely opening our schools is a top priority for us. Through extensive research, parent and staff surveys, guidance from the CDC, and district nurses, we put together a plan that everyone can proudly stand behind. Today, the percent of "Bricks" students who have tested positive for COVID-19 since the beginning of the school year is 2.29%. That low percentage is due to our multi-tiered health and safety plan. To improve this already comprehensive plan, the District has implemented the COVID-19 rapid antigen test, BinaxNOW. The best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is through testing. We are extremely honored to offer this to all District Bricks students and all staff at no cost to you or the District.
